What is the PC(USA) and what does it mean to be Presbyterian?

As Presbyterians, we believe in being connectional

We believe following Jesus as disciples is a journey we walk together--not alone. We seek together, we struggle together, we rejoice together, we weep together, we serve together, we pray together. We are the church together.

As Presbyterians, we believe this is true of us not only as individuals, connected to each other through our congregation, but also true of us as a congregation, connected with other congregations--locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

Our congregation is part of Holston Presbytery, which is made up of congregations spanning the eastern corner of Tennessee, from Strawberry Plains to Bristol. Our Presbytery is one of the 170 across the country that together make up the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States.

Want to know more? Ultimately, the best way to get to know us is to join us in worship, serve with us in one of our ministries, or meet with our pastor. Come check us out and we'd love the opportunity to get to know you as a partner in the journey of faith!
