We believe that a strong community of faith necessitates genuine relationships, a study of God’s Word that deepens our faith, and a connection between our Worship of the triune God and our service as disciples in the world. It is our hope that some of the opportunities listed below encourage this life of faithful discipleship among our adults.

Study
Covenant Learning Groups (Sundays 9:45 to 10:30): These adult learning groups meet for specific periods of time around particular study topics. Everything from Bible study to daily living to ethical reflection takes place in these groups.

Women’s Prayer Breakfast (First Sunday of each month from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.): Join with other women in the congregation for a monthly breakfast and spiritual study. This time of reflection and study is held in the home of one of the women of the church.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast (First Sunday of each month from 8:00 to 9:45): This men’s group meets monthly to share in fellowship, pray with each other, and study with one another. The group meets in the church fellowship hall and cooking responsibilities are shared among the group.

Fellowship
Family Night Supper (3rd Wednesday night 6:30 to 7:45, August through May):
These potluck dinners bring our community of faith together for fellowship and fun programs. Activities range from mission presentations, to church talent shows, to special worship services. All level of culinary skill is welcome and an extra bucket of fried chicken is always helpful!

Sit N Knit (3rd Friday of the Month 7:00 to 9:00 pm):
Whether knitting, needlepoint, or crochet, bring your needles and yarn and join with fellow church members for an evening of laughter and fun. Learn new skills from others and share your own special crafting skills with our community of faith!

Going On Group: These active seniors take monthly outings to explore natural and historical areas of East Tennessee (and sometimes beyond!). Plans are made at an annual gathering in September and activities are advertised throughout the year in the bulletin and monthly newsletter.

Smoky Mountain Non-Competitive Hiking Club: The hiking club explores God’s beautiful creation in monthly hikes in the Smoky Mountains. Details are found in the church newsletter and bulletin. Hike details may also be found on the church online calendar.

Amazing Grazing: These dinner groups meet in January, February, and March and help members of the church get to know others they may not encounter frequently in the life of the church. By mixing up the members, we seek to welcome new members into our family and encourage relationships between others who may not regularly interact on Sunday mornings.
